How do you know whether I’m the right person to shoot your wedding?
It’s not easy to choose a wedding photographer, to trust a person you might not have ever met before.
My approach to wedding photography is a mixture of fine art and photojournalism. I like to document the events of the day naturally, as they come. But I also bring to the table my own vision of beauty. If I spot the most magical light, or a perfect backdrop, I may not be able to resist asking you for a shot.
In the way that I work, wedding portraits form a mini story that make just one chapter of the whole wedding day. I’m not talking about a traditional, stuffy portrait session, it’s about you two spending time together, a moment that you can have completely to yourselves. I will be there to document these moments in beautiful imagery, guiding you when needed. You just bring yourselves and the love that you share, I’ll do the rest.
Trust. It’s the most important thing.
And getting to know each other is the best way to build trust.
I love a good chat and I’ll make sure to have a proper one with you before your wedding day, in order for us to get to know each other, and for me to understand what’s important to you.
The key thing is that you feel comfortable with me. That way you can concentrate on each other and your incredible day, and when it comes to documenting it I’ve fully got your back. For me, trust allows space for creativity.
