I’m a crazy plant lady who loves singing like no one’s listening, chilling out in coffee shops, and I make what can only be described as the best pancakes in the world. In me, a bohemian adventurer meets a calm organiser. My face can look quite serious, (sometimes I surprise even myself) but deep down I’m laidback and enjoy a good laugh. For me spending time in nature is a treat, be it the nearby forest or a jungle on the other side of the world. I love to travel and learn about new cultures and places, but I’m also a big fan of a cosy night in with jazz tunes, a tasty glass of wine, hand knitted woolly socks and most importantly my cute cat, Miski.
MY JOURNEY WITH PHOTOGRAPHY
I got my first camera from my parents for my eighth birthday. It was a basic automatic film camera and I spent my birthday shooting my first roll. This was the beginning of my lifelong love affair with documenting people, wildlife and landscapes. In my twenties I studied languages but I always dreamt of being a professional photographer. I finally committed myself in 2010 when I moved to Italy. I spent most of my free time in the picturesque city of Siena trying to capture its unique beauty. I continued to develop my style when living in the Amazon rainforest, which I explored with my camera in one arm and a machete in the other.
I’ve been a professional wedding photographer since 2015. In my photography I get inspired by nature, light, colours, beauty and the wonderful people I get to meet. When capturing people I’m always looking for sincere moments and the thing that inspires me above all is love.
This is who I am in a nutshell. For me it is important that you can be exactly as you are.
